This year has been an incredible growing year for Global Gardens - in April we erected the polytunnel and by August we were harvesting some delicious tomatoes, aubergines and chillies. We were also grateful for an abundant crop of squash and a bed of brassicas coming into full abundance as the temperatures drop. We were also thrilled to be awarded the People's Project in May.
As a way to mark the end of the growing year of 2019 and thank all those who have volunteered with the project, we held a FESTIVE FEAST at Cathays Community Centre.
Vaida curated a delicious main course meal which included Triple Glazed Squash, steamed winter greens and roasted winter veg accompanied with a delicious Winter kraut.
