ARTIST COLLABORATIONS
The Global Gardens Project is a community project about bringing people together through gardening, sharing food and learning new skills. We are developing an arts-based programme for the forthcoming year, thanks to funding from the Big Lottery Fund.
We are looking to work with a number of artists to run skill-share workshops that respond to our garden site. The appointed artists will facilitate one stand-alone or a series of workshops.
It is expected that these workshops will include some form of response to the site with participants through a chosen medium. The outcome could be for example a structure, object, meal or otherwise. Each workshop will leave some form of trace within the garden site.
Artists will be paid on a daily rate.
Timeframe
The closing date for expressions of interest is 12pm noon, 14 June 2018.
Launch of collaboration: July 2018.
Event celebrating collaborations: July 2019.
