HERB PATCH

Thanks to support from the Urban Buzz/Bug Life project, we have created a kitchen herb garden at the Global Gardens site.

On the patch we have planted a range of culinary herbs including rosemary, sage, thyme, mint and lemon balm. These herbs will be used for the community suppers at the Embassy Cafe and for our upcoming pizza event

Urban Buzz is a project supporting groups across the country to plant pollinator friendly spaces. As well as providing some tasty foliage for us the herbs we have planted provide nectar for a range of pollinators including bees.
