For the August Global Gardens Supper, we continued with colourful summery vibes.

Vaida shared her Lithuanian summer beetroot soup with us at the Global Gardens August Supper. The soup was a bright pink colour, and it was a delight to eat.

Shuna also prepared some delicious vegan salads, using kale from the Global Gardens patch and tomatoes from One Fox Lane and Blaencamel.

For dessert, we enjoyed a plum cake made from plums harvested by Orchard Cardiff and apple compote, made with apples from the Global Gardens site, kindly harvested by the Good Gym folks.

Thanks also to Riverside Sourdough for providing the loaves and Cardiff Salad Garden for providing the leaves.
