#HAVE A GROW

This weekend we held an open afternoon at Global Gardens as part of the Social Farms and Gardens Wales #haveagrow initiative.

We were one of a number of community gardens around Wales celebrating community growing. And it was a lovely sunny day for it!

Our writer-in-resident Lucy Smith welcomed people to the site and encouraged them to add an 'idea' petal to our garden flower - inviting people to make suggestions for the garden. Poppy showed some of the visitors around and set a few up with some gardening tasks.

It was lovely to see new as well as familiar faces.
