Last night we celebrated the launch of our mobile pizza oven at Cathays Community Centre. With a sourdough starter provided by Riverside Sourdough, Jack Welbourne led the transformation of sourdough in to wood fired pizza. The pizzas were fired in the mobile cob oven built by Global Gardens.

Henry Morgan curated a range of botanical non-alcoholic drinks using herbs from the garden.

Alongside the pizzas, Shuna, Ahmed and Poppy prepared some salads and dressings using leaves from the Global Gardens site and the new Cardiff Salad Garden.

At the end of the night we sent a smoke signal to the Future Farmers…

The signalling was our response to the work of the Future Farmers we engaged with during the Artes Mundi 7.
